Location: Newtownabbey site.
Responsibilities
* General external repairs: ground works, concrete repairs and installation, flagging, garden maintenance, fence and gate erection or repair.
* Excavate, lay pipes, clear blockages, repair foul or stormwater drainage systems, power wash, gutter/downpipe/soil pipe repairs, minor roof or patch repairs.
* Assist with scaffolding erection.
* Carry out general handyman duties.
* Internal repair works: minor plastering, plumbing, joinery and painting, level‑access shower trays, floor and wall tiling, floor levelling, house clear‑outs.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Practical experience in building, joinery, mechanical/electrical maintenance or grounds maintenance.
* Understanding of basic repair/maintenance issues.
* Current UK driving licence.
* Effective communication and prioritisation skills.

Plumber (Public Sector) – 3 months initially with possible extension
Location: Newtownabbey site.
Responsibilities
* All plumbing work for housing stock maintenance and refurbishment: bathrooms, kitchens, general pipework, cylinders, tanks, radiators, sinks, immersion heaters, shower trays and units.
* First and second fix plumbing as required.
* Inspect plumbing systems to identify repairs or replacements.
* Support operational tasks outside of plumbing where needed.
Requirements
* Completed plumbing apprenticeship (time‑served or skills‑based).
* Minimum one year of relevant post‑apprenticeship experience.
* Knowledge of current health and safety legislation within a maintenance environment.
* Full current driving licence.
Remuneration – £27,694 – £32,597 per annum, plus van and fuel card.
Joiner (Public Sector) – 3 months initially with possible extension
Location: Coleraine site.
Responsibilities
* Responsive maintenance as required.
* Communicate with management and itemise work for dwellings and premises.
* Execute work to high‑quality standards.
* Uphold data protection policies.
* Perform any other duties deemed necessary by management.
Requirements
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent trade qualification.
* Valid CSCS/CSR card.

* Apply related mechanical tasks.
* Use tools to work on electrical/electronic/mechanical systems.
* Manufacture, assemble, erect and install new electrical work.
* Diagnose and repair faults; share knowledge with others.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety orders.
* Attend to planned preventative maintenance, new work, repairs and emergencies.
Requirements
* Recognised BITB or CITB apprenticeship or approved company apprenticeship.
* City & Guilds 236 Part 2 or equivalent formal qualification.

Essential Criteria
* 1–5 years of painting and decorating experience.

Bricklayer (Public Sector) – 3 months initially with possible extension
Location: Portadown site.
Responsibilities
* Interpret construction plans and specifications.
* Measure, cut and lay bricks or blocks with hand or power tools.
* Apply mortar, remove excess and achieve a neat finish.
* Repair or replace damaged bricks or blocks.
* Collaborate with other trades and contractors for efficient project completion.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Proven bricklayer experience, preferably in public sector activity.
* Reading and interpreting construction plans.
* Effective use of hand and power tools.
* Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Groundsperson (Public Sector) – 3 months initially with possible extension
Location: Ballymoney site.
Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment for grounds maintenance.
* Use handheld tools for shrub bed and grass area maintenance.
* Establish and maintain shrub beds, grassed areas, fencing and hard landscaping.
* Clean litter and debris from hard areas and waterway areas.
* Spray chemicals, pesticides and weed‑killers where required.
* Load and unload equipment, materials and waste.
* Carry out minor equipment maintenance (blade sharpening, adjustment).
Requirements
* Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience.
* Use of mowers, strimmers, and other grounds equipment.
* Understanding of health and safety in outdoor environment.
* Teamwork and follow‑instructions.
* Physically fit for manual duties and willing to work outdoors in all weather.
* PA1/PA6 spraying certificates (desirable).
* Full driving licence.
* Experience in public‑sector or facilities environment.

Labourer (Public Sector)

* Open and close premises and grounds.
* Secure premises: lock windows, doors, gates.
* Maintain custody of keys for facilities and cleaning staff.
* Operate fire alarm, burglar alarm, building security systems and report faults.
* Respond to after‑hour break‑in or vandalism and secure premises promptly.
* Monitor and report suspicious activity during normal working hours.
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months experience in an estates‑related function.
* Graduate in GCSE maths and English grade C or above, or equivalent.
* Experience in securing premises, cleaning, securing grounds, supervising cleaners.
* Ability to respond to alarm notifications within 20 minutes.

Sales Engineer – Public Sector (Remote)
About the Position
* Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff for pre‑sales activities.
* Assist in analysis, design and development of technology solutions.
* Act as technical expert and consultant for solutions that meet business requirements.
