The Best Connection is an Employment Business recruiting on behalf of our client.
We are recruiting an HGV CE DAY DRIVER FOR SEASONAL AGRICULTURAL HARVEST WORK to operate from our client's yard near Hatfield, Doncaster. Our client is a well known root crop and potato grower and require seasonal cover for 8 weeks from mid September.
Responsibilities
The work will entail a number of different duties mainly using bulker trailers to collect harvested produce from either the field or the farmyard storage and take it back to the depot for storage or directly to customers for processing. There may also be some general haulage curtain sider work from time to time.
Schedule
The successful applicant must be prepared to start early in the morning circa 05.30.
Pay
* £ 14.50 PER HOUR
* GUARANTEED MINIMUM 8 HOURS PER DAY
* A 45 MIN BREAK IS NOT PAID EACH DAY
Requirements
* CE ENTITLEMENT ON UK LICENCE WITH VALID CPC & DIGI CARD.
* NO MORE THAN 9 POINTS FOR MINOR INFRINGEMENTS
* NO DD/DR/CD OR TT99 ENDORSEMENTS PLEASE
* AT LEAST 3-6 MONTHS OF CE DRIVING EXPERIENCE IN THE UK
* GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS
* GOOD GEOGRAPHICAL KNOWLEDGE OF UK ROADS.
