SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant Year 1 Pupil
Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and experienced SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 1 with complex needs in a resource base provision within a Primary School in Wylde Green.
They are looking for a nurturing SEN TA who can support the pupil with additional needs with a firm but fair approach,
The pupil needs firm boundaries, with choices as he presents with a demand avoidant profile. Use of agreed strategies to be used.
Previous experience working with special needs, complex needs, challenging behaviour is essential – the ideal candidate will have knowledge of ASC specific strategies and will have worked in a SEN school setting or provision.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
· Location – Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield
· Position – SEN TA – 1:1
· Type of work – SEN Teaching Assistant and 1:1
· Start date – ASAP
· Duration / Likely Duration – Long-term
· Contract type – Full Time
· Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate GBP 95 per day
· Hours – 8:20 am – 3:45pm with 30 min break
