The Role
As HR & Compliance Officer, you will oversee the school’s recruitment and safer recruitment processes, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed in line with statutory guidance. You will maintain the single central record, coordinate contracts and onboarding documentation, and provide HR advice to leaders where required.
You will also support absence management processes, maintain staff records and contribute to policy updates in line with changing legislation. The role requires a high level of confidentiality, organisation and attention to detail.

• Manage recruitment administration from advert to appointment
• Maintain and audit the Single Central Record
• Prepare contracts and onboarding documentation
• Monitor compliance with safeguarding and employment legislation
