As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that enhance students’ physical abilities, confidence, and understanding of health and fitness. Responsibilities of a Physical Education (PE) Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Teach a variety of sports, physical activities, and fitness programmes. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and the adoption of healthy lifestyles. Ensure safe practice and the correct use of equipment and facilities. Monitor and assess students’ performance, providing clear and constructive feedback. Maintain high standards of behaviour, participation, and engagement. Support extracurricular sports activities and coordinate school competitions. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education. Experience teaching PE in UK schools is desirable. Excellent classroom and activity management skills. Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities. A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
