We are seeking a Pastoral Support Worker to join our committed team, providing high‑quality support to pupils in line with our organisation’s values, policies and regulatory standards. This is a rewarding role where you’ll play a vital part in helping students—many with autism or additional needs—access education, develop independence, and feel safe, supported and understood.

What you will be doing

1. Leading the planning, development and delivery of an engaging and accessible IT curriculum
2. Teaching IT across Entry Level 1, BTEC and GCSE qualifications
3. Creating dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that inspire and motivate students
4. Adapting lessons and teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs and abilities
5. Building pupils' confidence, independence and digital skills for life beyond the classroom
6. Teaching a range of topics including coding, digital literacy, creative media and practical problem-solving
7. Helping students discover new strengths, interests and future aspirations through technology
8. Working collaboratively within a supportive, forward-thinking team to make a visible difference every day

What You Will Bring

9. Compassionate, patient and committed to supporting young people with diverse needs.
10. Able to remain calm and confident when managing challenging behaviour.
11. A strong communicator who works well as part of a team.
12. Organised, proactive and willing to learn.
13. Passionate about helping students grow in independence, confidence and self‑belief.
14. Driving licence is desirabledue to lots of offsite learning
15. Level 3 certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Colleges desirable
16. Level2 SEN qualification/ working towards desirable

Experience in education, SEN, autism support or care settings is beneficial, but we welcome applications from individuals with the right values and a genuine desire to make a difference.

** Please note: This role will cover both sites Uxbridge UB8 1SZ & UB8 3HD.**

Operating across three London sites—Isleworth, Hillingdon, and Uxbridge—the college delivers personalised education and support in an autism-specific environment. Our broad curriculum includes academic, vocational, and life skills learning, with BTECs, GCSEs, Functional Skills, ASDAN, Employability and Independence programmes, and Duke of Edinburgh awards.
