Ready for a new challenge? We’re on the hunt for two standout Account Handlers to power up our thriving Commercial Team. Working within our virtual call centre as part of the Commercial Team, our overall objective is to achieve operational targets through the promotion, sales, and servicing of insurance, whilst providing excellent customer service. You will be an instrumental part of our team with targets including the number of customer contacts made, leads obtained, quotations provided, sales generated, as well as quality levels in relation to compliance and customer service. Duties and Responsibilities: Handling inbound and outbound calls to generate new business and to service existing customers Advising, recommending, selling, and servicing appropriate insurance products to meet the customer’s needs Complying with all insurance scheme and underwriting rules Meeting and exceeding personal, team, and department targets Recording and maintaining customer records in accordance with company procedures Complying with FCA requirements, including adhering to agreed scripts Delivering and maintaining a quality service at all times Developing knowledge of the product range Participating in training and coaching sessions and continuous development of knowledge of the product range Behaving in a professional manner at all times, whilst taking an open and honest approach to all responsibilities Carrying out any other duties required by the company Adhering to company standards for excellent customer care Embracing Hughes Values Promoting the Hughes Insurance brand in every customer contact and acting as an ambassador for the company Liaising, communicating, and co-operating with other staff Qualifications: Previous experience in insurance, especially within commercial or personal lines, would be a strong advantage Open GI experience is desirable Ability to communicate clearly and transparently, with telephony experience Strong influencing and negotiation skills Passion for working with people, with a demonstrable ability to act with empathy, dignity, and respect Ability to work independently at times with minimal supervision Computer literacy, ideally with Microsoft Office applications experience If you would like to join us on our journey, please visit our website www.hughesinsurance.co.uk/jobs or find us on Facebook and LinkedIn.
