Days - 38 Hour WeekA well-established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to join their growing team in the Doncaster area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer seeking a varied role that combines both workshop and field-based work.The role offers a strong work-life balance with an early Friday finish, regular overtime opportunities, and the chance to work on projects both across the UK and occasionally overseas.Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pmFriday: 7:30am - 1:30pmThe RoleMechanical fitting, assembly, and installation workCarrying out service, maintenance, and repair work on customer sitesApproximately 70% workshop-based and 30% service workOccasional travel throughout the UK and overseasWorking independently and supporting projects from build through to installationEnsuring work is completed safely and to a high standardRequirementsPrevious experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, or similar engineering roleAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsFlexible attitude towards overtime and occasional travelStrong mechanical assembly and problem-solving skillsComfortable working both in the workshop and on customer sitesFull UK driving licence preferredPackage & BenefitsSalary of up to £36,000Company van or pool vehicle provided for service workOvertime available regularly Weekdays: 1.5x after 38 hours workedSaturdays: 1.5xSundays & Bank Holidays: 2xEarly finish every FridayStable and supportive engineering environmentThis role would suit a flexible and reliable Mechanical Fitter who enjoys a varied position and is willing to support the business with overtime and occasional site work when required.TPBN1_UKTJ
