Job Overview
Sodexo is hiring a Senior Data Administrator for the HMP Peterborough site in Peterborough, United Kingdom. This role partners with senior leadership to lead strategic data governance and performance initiatives, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and innovation across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on Complaints & Legal Requests: oversee complaints, correspondence, litigation, and SARs with timely, compliant, and quality-assured responses.
* Data Accuracy & Reporting: manage establishment-wide data submission and use insights to support performance and strategic decisions.
* Quality Assurance: develop QA processes for complaints, legal responses, and compliance areas; drive continuous improvement.
* PNC Audit Oversight: coordinate PNC audits, ensure compliance, and embed feedback through training and support.
* Training & Capability Building: deliver training and forums to strengthen audit readiness and governance across staff groups.
* Policy Compliance: monitor legislative and policy changes; embed updates into procedures and assurance tools.
* Data & Assurance Frameworks: lead coordination and QA of data and assurance outputs across key functions, aligning with strategic priorities.
* Audit Readiness: prepare for audits and inspections; maintain self-assessment records and drive improvement plans.
* Strategic Engagement: represent assurance at governance boards and external meetings; influence change through findings.
* Reporting & Governance Updates: produce clear, insightful reports and dashboards to support reviews and organisational goals.
Qualifications
Essential
* Proven track record of strategic leadership in data governance, administration, or data management roles within complex organisations.
* Deep expertise in data protection legislation, quality assurance frameworks, and advanced data analytics.
* Strong influencer with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Proficient in data visualisation and business intelligence tools, with an analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
* Experience managing dynamic teams and delivering impactful change in fast-paced environments.
Desirable
* Experience within regulated or public sector environments.
* Skilled in audit, inspection, and compliance readiness processes.
* Advanced proficiency in contemporary data management platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
Package & Benefits
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
