Accounts Assistant & Administrative Support (Part-Time)
Salford | 3 days per week, 8:00am-4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch) | Temporary – Potential to Become Permanent | Immediate start available
The Role
This is a varied position, with a strong focus on purchase ledger duties, alongside general accounts and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
* Matching, batching, and coding invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
* Supporting credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments
* Assisting with general accounts administration
* Providing additional administrative support to wider team as required
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring attention to detail
About You
* Previous purchase ledger experience is essential
* Some credit control experience is desirable
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage workload and work independently
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
