Valley Gas Speed Shop specialise in the restoration and repair of a wide range of show-winning Classic, American, Hot Rods, Race cars and concept cars, along with carrying out bespoke modifications and 'restomod' conversions. We are a family run business and have been trading for more than 20 years. We are based in Andover, Hampshire. just off the A303, M3.
We are looking for experienced candidates with passion and traditional skills to join our expanding team and are looking to take on another experienced metal and panel beater worker with traditional skills, to join our growing team in the restoration and repair of classic and American Hot Rods.
We are sadly under no circumstances, looking to take on an apprentice nor are we looking to train someone for this role. Sadly, if either are displayed on your CV, it will be automatically rejected.
You will be carrying out full restorations which include services such as welding and fabrication of panel work, high standard of welding is required-MIG and TIG essential.
Other services we offer in-house are chassis fabrication, suspension upgrades, engine rebuilds, full stainless exhaust systems, roof chops etc. Whilst we wouldn't expect a candidate to have skills in all services listed below, welding and fabrication is a must and enthusiasm to learn new skills is a must.
Taking pride in your work, it is essential you have the skills to produce high quality work together with an ability to adapt to all aspects of repair and restoration. You must be able to work on your own initiative but also willing to co-operate as part of a small team in order to achieve the high standard of work our clients expect.
