About the Role we are looking for a Manual/Exploratory QA Tester with previous or current experience testing slot games to join our clients awesome team in Manchester no a hybrid basis. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our clients online slot games, working closely with developers and designers to deliver a seamless gaming experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct manual and exploratory testing on slot games to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and gameplay issues.
* Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and regression testing to ensure game stability.
* Analyse game mechanics, RTP calculations, and bonus features to verify accuracy.
* Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to improve game quality.
* Log and track defects using JIRA or other bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
* Perform cross-platform testing across web and mobile (iOS & Android).
* Provide feedback on usability, player experience, and game flow to enhance engagement.
* Work within an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements
* Previous experience testing slot games (essential).
* Strong understanding of slot game mechanics, features, and RTP calculations.
* Experience with manual and exploratory testing methodologies.
* Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
* Ability to identify edge cases and gameplay inconsistencies.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience testing across web and mobile platforms.
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Advantageous)
* Automation testing knowledge (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
* Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
* Understanding of performance testing tools like JMeter or K6.
