What are the requirements for this role?
1. 12 months previous experience working in a similar role supporting a similar group of clients is desirable (adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities)
2. You will need to show you have the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team whilst demonstrating excellent communication skills.
3. You will need to be a proactive, calm and caring individual.
4. Have the willingness to take part in a number of activities with the users of this service.
5. Have the willingness to work flexible shifts, including longer shifts on weekends.
6. Have a full drivers licence with access to your own vehicle is preferred.
This position is advertised on a temporary to permanent basis where by you will complete a 12-week period with the support of AJ Recruitment, resulting in a permanent position and transferring to our client at the end of the 12 weeks whereby you will be working to a set roster, however there is often the opportunity to work overtime.
