Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are offering a salary up to £38,000 which is dependent on experience.
The successful candidate will be joining a great team and play a vital role in their finance function in Ilkeston within the Retail sector.
This is a fully office based position in Ilkeston.
Job Description
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Preparing financial reports
* Various reconciliations (bank and credit)
* Managing cash flow
* Purchase ledger and sales ledger management
* Maintaining and updating financial records
* Perform credit control
* Assist with year end accounts
* Managing payroll
* Adhoc duties that may be required (admin / HR)
The Successful Applicant
The successful Bookkeeper:
* Previous experience in a similiar role is essential
* Knowledge of accounting software
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to manage workload effectively
* Excellent communication skills
* AAT Qualified
* Strong numerical skills
* Strong accounting experience
