Manager – Outsourced Finance – Taunton or Yeovil
The role
We are recruiting a qualified accountant to join our Outsourced Finance department at Manager level in the Taunton or Yeovil office. This key client‑facing role involves reviewing management accounts, providing insightful commentary, and working closely with business owners and management teams to help them understand performance and make informed strategic decisions. The successful candidate will act as a senior point of contact for a varied portfolio of clients, develop people and service delivery within the department, and support business development activities to grow the Outsourced Finance offering. While this position does not involve preparing year‑end accounts, a strong technical background is essential to support the team and maintain high standards.
What we need from you
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Post‑qualification experience within a practice environment
* Exposure to a broad client base including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Strong technical knowledge, including FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
* Genuine interest in management accounting and in‑year advisory services
* Confidence reviewing work and providing clear, constructive feedback
* Enjoyment developing and coaching others
* Commercial mindset, proactive and comfortable building trusted client relationships
* Excellent people skills and a strong commitment to outstanding client service
