You will be joining a vibrant and dynamic professional services team, and as a team we work together collaboratively, creatively and with the confidence to drive change in support of our Faculty's academic endeavours. About the roleYou will support and administer employability activities within the Faculty including 1:1 student support, delivery of student workshops and a range of industry-related events and activities. Sitting in a hub alongside the Faculty placements team, you will work closely together and collaborate regularly with the university’s central Careers Service & Skills Centre.Working with professional services and academic colleagues in the Faculty and across the university, you will deliver high quality, sector-specific support to our students and our industry partners. This is a varied and exciting role that interfaces with current students, alumni, industry partners and internal colleagues.About youTo succeed in this role you will have experience working with students or young people, feel confident at presenting and delivering workshops and be enthusiastic about liaising with external industry partners to the University.You will have exceptional communication skills and be able to build relationships with home and international students, alumni and employers from a range of industry settings. There is also opportunity to contribute to marketing activities that support international student recruitment, a key priority for the Faculty. Acting as a key liaison point for stakeholders, you will establish and maintain effective communication channels and ensure that related administrative processes are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances.Further information This is a part-time role working 29.2 hours per week (0.8 fte) that is offered on a hybrid basis (2 days per week on campus, including Tuesdays).
