The children in our care can be vulnerable and challenging, with a wide range of complex social and emotional needs. About the Role We are now expanding our Education team and we are looking for an Education Liaison Officer to support our young people to recognize their potential by working alongside our children and their professionals to prepare them for future education and work prospects. Your main responsibilities will be to: Work alongside external professionals to confirm previous education experience and competency Attend meetings in order to support education progress and aspirations during their time in the centre Work alongside our young people and support enrolment into college and or work placements Track data in relation to young people's placement, education, future plans, and engagement with the ELO Be able to build and maintain strong professional relationships with our young people in order to fully support them and their education progress. Assist in the promotion of creating a positive Health & Safety culture across the site leading by example, this includes reporting accidents and near misses in a timely manner & follow the applicable safe systems of work for the role.
