Job Overview This is a clinical role working with young people and their families from the point of referral to discharge or diagnosis to the Neurodevelopment Service. The role will involve contributing to assessments of young people with possible neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Main duties of the job The role will involve contributing to assessments of young people with possible neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Carrying out school observations and providing intervention and support (including direct individual, family, group psycho-education, indirect behavioural work and post diagnostic support). You will also be required to support the team in terms of ensuring smooth running and organisation of the service, research, evaluation and service development as required. You will work within a clinic setting as well as community. You will be able to access regular individual supervision, peer supervision, CPD opportunities within and outside of the service. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
