Primary School Teaching AssistantCirencester | Full-time / Part-time | Immediate & September StartsAre you a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting? We are working with welcoming and supportive primary schools in Cirencester who are seeking dedicated TAs to support pupils across the school.This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners and be part of a nurturing team that puts children first..The Role:As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within the classroom
* Assist teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
* Help deliver engaging lessons, including phonics, literacy and numeracy
* Support pupils with additional needs (SEND, SEMH or EAL where required)
* Promote a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work closely with class teachers and other support staff
Key Stages:We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across:
* EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
* Key Stage 1 (Years 1-2)
* Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
Experience in any of the above is welcome.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience working with primary-aged children (school or childcare setting)
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
* Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
* A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* A passion for supporting children's learning and development
