We’re recruiting for a Mechanical Project Supervisor to support major new‑build water treatment works across Surrey and Slough. This role is with a Tier 1 contractor delivering large‑scale clean water infrastructure projects.
Role Overview
1. Supervise mechanical installation works on new‑build water treatment schemes
2. Oversee subcontractors and ensure high‑quality workmanship
3. Monitor progress, safety, andpliance across mechanical activities
4. Supportmissioning of pumps, pipework, valves, tanks, and process equipment
5. Ensure all works meet project specifications, industry standards, and H&S requirements
6. Liaise with project engineers, site managers, and client representatives
Requirements
7. Essential: Previous experience supervising mechanical works on new‑build water treatment plants
8. Background with Tier 1 contractors or major utilities frameworks
9. Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ/HNC/HND or equivalent)
10. Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in water treatment environments
11. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site disciplineFull UK driving licenceCSCS/ECS CardEUSR National Water Hygiene CardSMSTSFirst Aid at WorkCity & Guilds Authorised Person Module
