Our care home, located in the heart of Kirkcaldy, a coastal town on the Forth Estuary in East Central Scotland, offers comprehensive Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care, providing a supportive and caring environment for 60-residents.

* 30 hours per week
* Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
* 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
Role Overview
As Head Housekeeper, you will lead the housekeeping team to ensure the home is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and comfort. Your role is key in creating a welcoming environment where residents feel valued and at home.
You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage schedules and delegate tasks effectively across the team. You will support, mentor and guide colleagues to maintain high standards, ensuring all areas of the home, including bedrooms and communal spaces, are clean, safe and well presented.
You will also manage stock, oversee cleaning supplies and equipment, and carry out regular checks to ensure compliance with infection prevention and health and safety procedures. Working closely with other departments, you will help ensure the smooth running of the home and contribute to a positive and well maintained environment.

* Understanding of cleaning standards and infection prevention practices
* Reliable, proactive and professional approach
* Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience is desirable but not essential
