Kinetic Manchester are supporting an international textile company in the recruitment of an Industrial Sewing Machinist for their Trafford Park site.We are looking for a skilled Sewing Machinist with experience using industrial sewing machines, capable of carrying out alterations and repairs to a high standard.This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.Responsibilities of the Industrial Sewing Machinist:* Confidently operate industrial or domestic sewing machines* Carry out garment alterations and repairs with precision* Shorten trouser legs and sleeves* Repair holes, tears, and frayed areas* Reinforce seams and stitching where required* Attach or reattach logos, patches, and labels* Ensure high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detailTo be successful within this global company as the Industrial Sewing Machinist you must have:* Previous experience in a production or tailoring environment is desirable* Proven experience using industrial or domestic sewing machines* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach* Good communication skills, both written and verbal* Flexible to work both 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shiftsAdditional Details:* £13.03ph (Starting salary of £25,427)* £13.57ph (Post 12 weeks rising to £26,474)* Permanent opportunity with monthly performance-based bonuses* A chance to join a well-established international companyKinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
