Are you passionate about supporting children with autism in a nurturing, small-class environment? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Liverpool.
About the role:
1. Support pupils with autism in small, structured SEN classes
2. Work closely with the class teacher and wider team to deliver personalised learning and care
3. Encourage communication, sensory regulation, and positive behaviour
4. Provide consistency, empathy, and a calm presence throughout the school day
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally autism
6. Patience, resilience, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
7. Team player with strong communication skills
8. DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
