Our UK business continues to grow, and we are now looking for a Commercial Manager to strengthen our front-end commercial operations and help shape the next phase of our journey.
About the Role
This is a key leadership role within our UK operations, responsible for overseeing customer service, order management, and commercial administration, ensuring seamless coordination between our Sales team and Birstall Operations.
The role will play a critical part in improving commercial processes, driving accountability across teams, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and developing the Customer Service and Commercial Administration teams
• Overseeing order management and improving service standards
• Supporting the Sales team with quotations, enquiries, and project coordination
• Building stronger commercial alignment between Sales, Operations, and Group Management
• Developing scalable processes to support continued business growth
• Monitoring key KPIs across order processing, quotation turnaround, and customer response times
• Driving a strong customer-focused and commercially disciplined culture
About You
We are looking for someone who brings both commercial structure and operational leadership.
You will ideally have:
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in commercial operations, customer service management, or sales administration
• Experience managing commercial support teams
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric thinking
• A proven ability to improve processes and implement structure
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Experience within distribution, construction materials, interiors, or related sectors (preferred)
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to develop teams and improve performance
