We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused IT Field Services Engineer to join our enterprise IT support team at Amentum. This is a full-time, highly mobile role, involving work across various Amentum sites to ensure service continuity for end users.
The ideal candidate will have solid L2 IT support skills and a proactive attitude. The role reports to the Business Relationship Manager and involves supporting IT engagement, developing guidance materials, and contributing to service improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Cover multiple Amentum sites, providing on-ground support
* Deliver L2 end-user IT support and troubleshooting
* Utilize ITSM ticketing system for issue management
* Resolve hardware/software issues, including device swaps
* Provide technical training to end-users
* Support VIP stakeholders
* Assist with IT security incidents and collaborate with facilities management
* Manage IT equipment inventory and tickets
* Participate in IT project delivery and suggest service improvements
Essential Skills and Attributes
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong troubleshooting abilities
* Positive and proactive attitude
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Experience with IT ticketing, basic networking, EUC management platforms, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365
Desired Skills & Experience
