Overview
Love RC? Love working with people? Love variety? This could be the perfect role for you
At Wheelspin Models, we're all about bringing the RC hobby to life — whether that's helping someone choose their very first model, keeping long-time enthusiasts on track with repairs, showcasing our huge range of products, or hosting action-packed race events at Wheelspin Raceway.
We're looking for enthusiastic, adaptable team players to join us in Cannock. This isn't just one job — it's a role where no two days are the same. One moment you might be troubleshooting a customer's car, the next you're posting race updates on social media, and later you could be helping to run an event and making sure everything goes smoothly
We are open to providing full-time and part-time opportunities, and we'll shape the role around the right people for the business.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Make people smile – deliver brilliant customer service whether it's face-to-face, on the phone, or online.
* Be the go-to problem solver – answer questions, fix issues, and keep customers coming back happy.
* Build relationships – get to know our community of RC fans, supporting them before, during, and after their purchases.
* Get hands-on – help with repairs and technical troubleshooting (don't worry, we'll train you up if needed).
* Bring the fun to race day – support bookings, run timing software, keep the energy up, and even jump on the mic to commentate.
* Keep people in the loop – share updates on social media, live race results, and news that gets the community buzzing.
* Pitch in everywhere – we're a small, friendly team, so we all help out where it's needed.
Skills and Experience:
* Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for Radio Controlled models.
* Experience in customer service and managing customer relationships, with proven ability to resolve issues effectively.
* Confidence to speak clearly and present to groups, whether in-store, at events, or online.
* Technical aptitude for repairs, maintenance, and fault-finding desirable.
* Race/event experience (organising, running, or participating) highly beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
* A positive, proactive, and team-focused approach.
* Willingness to learn and adapt across different parts of the business.
* Strong Project Management skills
* Willing and open to learn, with proven experience of proactive self-development
What's In It For You
* A fun, fast-paced role right at the heart of the RC community.
* Variety – from customer support to technical work to race events, no two days are the same.
* Training and support to grow your technical, customer, and events skills.
* A friendly, passionate team that loves RC as much as you do.
* Flexible hours – both part-time and full-time roles available.
