SEN Teaching Assistant – Sutton Location: Sutton Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term Pay: £85 – £96 per day (depending on experience) ️ Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing About the Role: Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools in the Sutton area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties. You’ll be helping students thrive both academically and emotionally in a supportive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and group support for pupils with special educational needs. Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning plans (IEPs). Encourage students’ social and emotional development. Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure consistent support. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, residential, or care setting). A calm, patient, and adaptable attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Protocol Education).
