Overview
GXO is looking for a proactive and confident HR Advisor to join our dynamic HR team in Rugby, supporting our NHS contract. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll be the go-to expert for all things Employee Relations (ER), helping managers navigate complex cases and drive positive outcomes.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day
* Lead and manage ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and flexible working requests
* Coach and train line managers to build confidence and capability in ER case handling
* Collaborate with the HR Operations Partner to identify trends and implement proactive solutions
* Support absence management through data analysis, Occupational Health liaison, and strategic initiatives
* Administer recruitment processes, contract changes, and onboarding activities
* Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to improving survey scores and workplace culture
What you need to succeed at GXO
* Strong experience in managing high-volume ER cases
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with Trade Unions
* A flexible, organised, and customer-focused approach
