The Role
The Restaurant is set within our Audley Retirement village, which features its own health club, library, fine dining restaurant, bar and luxury suites. Audley villages comprise owners who permanently reside on site in their private homes and also host external customers. From simple to the finest cuisine, beautiful settings in heritage buildings and the very best people, Audley is a growing luxury brand committed to investing in our people’s training and development to help you build skills and advance your career in hospitality quickly.
As our Waiter / Waitress you’ll ensure that Audley Owners and External Customers receive the highest quality service and experience. You will help provide a warm welcome and a smooth, seamless service for guests enjoying exceptional food and surroundings at our restaurant and bistro.
Whether you’re taking reservations, seating guests, advising on the menu, serving afternoon tea, promoting the village and our luxury spa, or sharing a joke with regulars, you’ll deliver an exceptional service. You’ll also help service our guest suites, answer owners’ enquiries, monitor stock levels, assist with setup for special events, and keep everywhere scrupulously clean.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in hospitality and handling cash (preferably).
* Taking pride in everything you do is an essential quality for this role.
* A ‘can do’ attitude and an organised approach that ensures tasks get done.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self-motivated and driven by standards and sales opportunities.
* Eager to learn and develop.
* Hands-on and flexible approach to daily duties and shift patterns.
* Warm, professional and empathetic, and smartly turned out.
