Part-Time Accounts Assistant | Northwich | Up to £35,000 | Immediate Start | 6-12 Month Contract
Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a well-established SME is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support their finance function on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business environment and make a real impact in a hands-on role.
Responsibilities:
Managing the Sales Ledger, including credit control
Overseeing the Purchase Ledger, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing cheque runs
Posting and reconciling bank transactions
Preparing monthly journals
Assisting with VAT returns
Supporting payroll processes
Performing balance sheet reconciliations
About You
Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
Strong understanding of both sales and purchase ledger processes
Confident with bank reconciliations and journal entries
Familiarity with payroll and VAT procedures
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
