Your responsibilities as Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant
Process financial transactions accurately using cloud accounting systems
Complete bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations to maintain clean data
Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with compliance requirements
Maintain records through to Trial Balance, supporting reporting accuracy
Assist with month-end processes and financial close activities
Identify errors and improve data quality across client accounts
What we’re looking for in a Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant
Previous experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping environment
Strong attention to detail across financial data and reconciliations
Experience or exposure to cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
Understanding of VAT, debtor and creditor processes
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial records
Working hours
Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (office-based)
