Job Description
As the Payroll Specialist you will:
* Oversee the processing of payroll in a timely and accurate manner
* Ensure compliance with national payroll policies and regulations
* Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production
* Coordinate with HR and Accounting departments for payroll data
* Perform routine audits to ensure accuracy
* Generate reports for upper management, finance department, and auditors
* Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee information
* Develop strategies to improve the payroll process
The Successful Applicant
As the successful Payroll Specialist you should have:
* Previously worked in a similar role and be able to carry out all of the above duties
* Proficiency in payroll software
* Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail
* Strong understanding of payroll practices and legislation
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
