The Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to provide effective business partnering and a fit-for-purpose finance system to enable the organisation to achieve its strategic ambitions and aims. This role positions finance as the enabler to ensure that maximum return for the business is achieved through value-adding financial analysis as well as business evaluation and insight.
Key role requirements:
Management Accounting
* Review of the management accounting systems, processes and controls
* Regular monitoring of the underlying working papers and ledgers
* Review of management accounts reports
* Identifying and recommending areas for improvement in reporting
* To be responsible for a fit-for-purpose Finance System including vendor management and continuous improvement.
Reporting
* Attendance at management meetings, providing financial insight and analysis to support the delivery of the budget.
* Review of financial and operating models and assistance with the preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts
* Establishing strong working relationships with the operational management team
Purpose of the Role
To manage and develop a financial reporting system that ensures timely, accurate and relevant information to the operational team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. To assist the Finance Director and Senior Leadership team in the in the delivery of the strategic vision.
Support the finance team in the establishment of new business processes.
You will have :
Excellent communication and influencing skills
1. Demonstrable experience of analytical thinking and problem-solving
2. Competent using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel (in particular), PowerPoint and Outlook
3. Excellent attention to detail
4. The ability to work collaboratively across departments on the wider Estate
5. Be able to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
6. A background of working within a Finance department in a commercial organisation
7. Experience in managing a finance system and third-party suppliers
