Who we need
This post will be based in Totnes. Delivery of the programme involves a mix of education and work-related activities, both 1:1 and in groups.
Making it happen – your role
The successful candidate will:
* Engage effectively with young people through community delivery to motivate participation and meet project outcomes.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Ensure sustainable integration into the labour market for young people aged 16–24, particularly those with an education health care plan (EHCP), including those with complex needs, at risk of social exclusion, and from marginalized communities.
* Plan and deliver a person-centred accredited programme supporting young people to overcome personal barriers, including confidence building, CV writing, job searching, and interview skills. Pathways may include travel training, community projects, health & wellbeing, cooking, supported work tasters, internships, and job trials.
* Have experience working in an educational setting with young people with special educational needs, including social and emotional behavior problems.
* Possess good IT and self-management skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to market individuals or services. An understanding of the supported employment process and basic knowledge of social enterprises are also desirable.
