Whether your specialism is electrical or mechanical, you’ll find plenty of interesting challenges to get stuck into at Sainsbury’s. In our fast-paced environment, you’ll test your ability to find and fix different faults logically and efficiently, every shift. Yours will be a key role in keeping our operations on track.
A team player with good communication skills, you’ll bring to the role a knowledge of health and safety issues, plus confidence working with computers. We’ll expect you to be qualified to City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent, and to have served your time as an electrical or mechanical engineering apprentice.
At Sainsbury’s you’ll find a stable job in an organisation that takes your skills seriously. The benefits are really good too – including paid holiday, a colleague discount card after 4 weeks that gives you and a second user 10% on most items in Sainsbury’s, Argos and Habitat. Throughout the year we regularly increase discount at Sainsbury’s and Argos to 15% as an additional benefit and food and hot drinks is provided in colleague areas in all our Depots. And if a longer-term career is what you’re interested in, there’s nothing stopping you moving on up. We never say no to ambition.
