We’re excited to be looking for a Fleet Operations Support Operative to join our Fleet team. You’ll support our Fleet Operations Coordinators and company vehicle users, playing a key role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant and ready to support our services every day. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be the face of Abri Fleet. You’ll complete vehicle condition appraisals, support fleet administration and carry out basic maintenance, as well as moving vehicles between Abri locations and specialist suppliers. Your work will help minimise downtime and ensure colleagues always have access to safe, reliable vehicles. You’ll work closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers, delivering a professional and customer-focused service. From preparing vehicles joining and leaving the fleet, to assisting with handovers and returns, road-testing vehicles and arranging repairs, you’ll help ensure everything is done safely, efficiently and in line with Health & Safety requirements. We’re looking for someone organised, flexible and detail-focused, with a good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and a genuine desire to support colleagues. Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy are essential, along with a full, valid driving licence, as regular travel to Abri locations and fleet suppliers will be part of the role.
