We are looking for a full-time Operations Assistant to join our Brighton-based team. This is a junior role designed for someone looking to take their first step into a professional environment - no prior office or legal experience is required. What matters most is your reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
You’ll work from our central Brighton office alongside two experienced operations team members and play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day functioning of the firm.

Brighton Office Based
This is a full-time, office-based role located in central Brighton. You'll work closely with your colleagues each day and become part of a professional, supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the operations team, you’ll take responsibility for a broad range of administrative and support tasks, including:
Accounts Support:

Making and recording payments
*
Receiving incoming payments and notifying fee earners
*
Reconciling internal accounts
Fee Earner Support:
*
Providing occasional tech assistance or practical support on request
Post Handling:
*
Printing and sending post daily
*
Scanning and uploading incoming post
Administrative Duties:
*
Greeting visitors to the office
*
Speaking with clients and suppliers
*
Supporting the induction of new staff
*
Assisting other operations team members with day-to-day office tasks
*
Taking responsibility for aspects of our legal tech stack
This list isn’t exhaustive, and you should be ready to take on and learn new skills and complete tasks as required. All training will be provided to you for your responsibilities.
Who We’re Looking For

Minimum of BBB at A Level or the equivalent UCAS points, or can demonstrate experience in business administration or technology
*
Reliable and Detail-Oriented: You take pride in accuracy and consistency in your work.

Organised and Proactive: You’re able to manage tasks methodically and are happy to help out wherever needed.

Eager to Learn: You don’t need prior experience, but you must be ready to learn quickly and take on responsibility.

Salary and Career Path

Starting salary: £18,000-£21,000
