They have evolved their retail estate, transforming the customer experience in-store, and are looking for Quality Security Officers that reflect the new direction the business has moved in.

Where: Brighton, BN1 area.
When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP!
Hours: 16-24 hours per week to cover Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Shift Patterns: Shifts between 07:00-23:00.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour.

About the role:
* Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring the premises.
* Providing a visible deterrent within the store against theft, anti-social behaviour, violence and criminal activity to create and support a safe shopping environment.
* Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
* Engage with police and other security personnel to improve service levels – this may include crime partnership meetings, shop watch schemes and police meetings.
* Deal with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive and professional manner.
* Officers must also be flexible to be able to cover sickness, holiday absences, and ad-hoc shifts for the full-time team.
About you:
* Excellent communication & customer service skills.
* Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
* Knowledge of SCONE.
* A valid SIA licence (DS).
* A full five-year checkable employment history.
