We are launching a new domiciliary care service in Manchester and are looking for a Part-Time Senior Carer to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing the business.
This is not just another care role – it's an opportunity to help shape a new service from the ground up, with a clear pathway to a senior leadership position as the business expands.
The Role
As a Senior Carer, you will:
* Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes.
* Support with daily living activities including personal care, medication, mobility, and meal preparation.
* Lead by example, ensuring care standards are maintained at the highest level.
* Assist in implementing individual care plans tailored to client needs.
* Help establish and refine operational processes as the business grows.
* Mentor and support junior carers, fostering a culture of compassion and professionalism.
* Contribute to business development and service improvement initiatives.
* Knowledge of CQC Procedures and Requirements
What We're Looking For
We need someone who is:
* Organised and proactive, with a "business mentality" and the ability to think beyond day-to-day tasks.
* Experienced in senior care (domiciliary, nursing homes, or assisted living).
* Confident with care planning, medication administration, and record keeping.
* Compassionate, patient, and skilled at managing challenging behaviours.
* A strong communicator, able to engage with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Ambitious, with a desire to step into a leadership role as the business expands.
