Pricing Analyst - Projects

The Projects team is responsible for co-ordinating cross-functional activities within the pricing team, and driving forward cross-team delivery projects. You’ll help to drive forward our capability and delivery across a number of such areas.
What you'll be doing:
1. Co-ordination of AvE processes and insights between teams.
2. Facilitation of project work that cuts across teams to ensure delivery.
3. Pricing architecture optimisation including MTA pricing and algorithm design.
4. Regular processes to ensure models and data are continually updated ready for retail modelling and optimisation.
5. Discounting algorithm functionality.
6. All the while, ensuring that appropriate governance processes are followed to ensure we have relevant sign-offs and regulatory compliance checks have been completed.
Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. When you'll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 50% across the month.
What you’ll need
7. Strong understanding of the components of a pricing algorithms and application of underwriting rules.
8. Understanding of key legislation and regulation applying to motor insurance.
9. Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for problem solving.
10. Ability to communicate complex information in a simple way.
11. Experience of Multivariate modelling, for example in Emblem .
12. Experience of data manipulation using languages, such as SQL or Python.
13. Strong understanding of statistical and mathematical techniques.
