Do you have a Catering qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds706/1 or equivalent In this Catering post, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service. Supervising staff working in the kitchen. You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork including electronic returns are completed and submitted accordingly. Understanding dietary and nutritional needs. Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround. You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post. Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
