We are recruiting a Care Assistant to support a busy care home with flexible hours, alternate weekends, and the opportunity to make a real difference.
Location: The service premises, but you may be required to work at other locations with appropriate notice.
Role-specific Duties
* Ensure residents are at the heart of care, respecting their wishes and preferences to enhance wellbeing.
* Contribute to the efficient running of the service.
* Support residents in maintaining relationships with their community.
* Follow care plans and document appropriately.
* Inform Senior Care Staff of any changes in residents' needs.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents.

* Develop effective relationships with colleagues.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to benefit residents.
* Maintain relationships with residents' loved ones.

About The Role
Essential Criteria
* Qualifications: Good written and verbal English skills.
Skills
* Proficient in maintaining care plans and records.
* Effective communication to build rapport and inform colleagues.
* Problem-solving skills for quick adaptation and protection reporting.
* Assist residents with daily tasks per care plan, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and bathroom use.
Previous Experience
* No prior experience required.
