Responsibilities
* Processing invoices, managing petty cash, and recording income and expenditure
* Supporting service users with personal allowances and bill payments
* Preparing reconciliations and banking transactions each month
* Providing the Service Manager with clear and timely budget updates
* Liaising with councils, social work departments, and other agencies
* Keeping minutes, mail, and noticeboards in good order
* Helping to create a welcoming and professional office environment
* Being the go-to person for HR entries and staff records, arranging meetings and visits, and offering general support that helps colleagues do their best work
What You’ll Bring
You will have experience of working with financial procedures and administrative systems, along with confident use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Accuracy and strong organisational skills will come naturally to you, and you will be comfortable managing priorities and working independently. You will bring a professional yet approachable manner, enabling you to build positive relationships with staff, visitors and service users alike.
