Do you want to work in a Friendly Finance Team that offers excellent working conditions plus Hybrid working?

I am working exclusively with my client to recruit an experienced Finance Administrator to join the team.

The purpose of this role is to lead on supplier payments and processes. To ensure that the company maximises the full supplier credit terms. To report company costs and expenses. You will answer supplier queries and produce regular informative reports for the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reconcile supplier invoices and statements within agreed SLAs in a timely manner and assist with month end close

* Check and process purchase invoices and/credit notes on Zeendoc

* Check and process employee expenses

* First point of contact suppliers for both internal and external queries

* Apply payments to jobs on the ERP and run the authorisation process

* Setup Vendors and manage credit terms

* Assist in management of subcontractor’s setup

* Prepare accruals and prepayments

* Manage corporate cards and engineer fuel cards

* Posting and paying all intercompany payments

* Action queried creditors. Investigate and resolve within agreed SLA’s

* Establish and maintain a good working relationship with teams.

* Process potential refunds and write offs as agreed by the Finance Manager

* Put accounts on stop or issue stop payments as and when required following discussions with Finance Manager for supplier invoices

* Understand various aspects of bank reconciliation's

* Deliver agreed reports to specific deadlines

* Ad hoc queries

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Competent in the use of company ERP

Customer focused

Confident with good written and spoken skills

Strong IT skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook, strong organisation skills Previous Finance experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

* Previous accounts payable experience

* Previous customer facing role
