Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Buyer / Purchasing Administrator to join a busy team in Andover. This is a great opportunity for someone with purchasing experience or an electrical wholesaling background who is looking to develop their career in procurement.
Main Duties
* Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time
* Order and manage materials for ongoing projects
* Coordinate with electricians in the field to ensure timely deliveries
* Liaise with suppliers and negotiate lead times where needed
* Work closely with internal teams to support smooth operations
* Maintain accurate records of purchases and stock levels
Skills and Knowledge
* 1–2 years’ purchasing, procurement, or buying experience or experience in an electrical wholesaler environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Ability to prioritise and work well in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: £30,000 per annum
* Hours: between 8:00am – 6:00pm – 40 hours
* 21 days holiday + bank holidays
* Free on-site parking
