Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant Location: Near St Austell Salary: up to £13.25 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 6.00am to 3:00 pm Temp to Perm We are recruiting a Quality Assurance (QA) for our food manufacturing client near St Austell. The Role You will be a vital part of their technical team, monitoring and verifying all food safety, legality, and quality procedures across the processing facility. This is a hands-on role where you will be instrumental in ensuring every product that leaves our site meets both customer specifications and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conducting regular monitoring and verification checks throughout the factory, including temperature controls, Critical Control Points (CCPs), and pre-requisite requirements. Inspecting raw materials upon intake, through processing, and as a final product to ensure they meet quality parameters and customer specifications. Completing and verifying all quality control and production paperwork accurately. Enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene rules, and health and safety standards within the factory environment. Assisting with internal audits and preparation for third-party and customer audits (e.g., BRC, MSC/ASC certification bodies).
