Quality Engineer
Location: Bedlington, Northumberland

Introduction:
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will support quality improvements across a wide range of products and processes. They will work closely with other departments and take a proactive approach to ensure products and processes are maintained and continually improved. Responsibilities also include supporting NC closure to prevent recurrence and adhering to the Quality Audit schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and guidance on internal and external non-conformances.
* Support initiatives to improve RFT and yield across the site.
* Assist in the improvement of the Quality Management System.
* Support manufacturing teams to meet customer KPIs related to quality.
* Participate in review meetings and update documentation accordingly.
* Engage in continuous improvement activities, utilizing tools such as SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, and Mistake Proofing.
Ideal Candidate:
* Knowledge of Quality Standards like ISO9001 and AS9100.
* Certified Auditor (AS9100, IATF16949, ISO9001).
* Experience in Manufacturing Quality Engineering.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Effective time management.
* Reliable with attention to detail.
Working Hours & Benefits:
* Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
* 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
