About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional care and leading by example. You’ll support service users with daily living, promote independence, and mentor junior staff to maintain the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on, person-centred care to service users
• Lead and mentor Support Workers and HCAs on shift
• Assist with care planning, documentation, and risk assessments
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care
• Support individuals with personal care, mobility, and medication administration (in line with training)
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external partners
About You
You are committed, reliable, and skilled in delivering excellent care. You bring warmth, professionalism, and a passion for supporting others.
Essential Requirements:
• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience as a Support Worker or HCA (minimum 2 years)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
