Administration Assistant (Highways Depot Support) The Administration Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the operational efficiency of three Highways Depots directly impacting the performance and compliance of over 150 Highways operatives. This full-time post is essential for: Payroll & HR Support: Timely processing of payroll, overtime, holidays, and HR queries ensures operatives are paid accurately and on time, maintaining morale and operational continuity. Procurement & Invoice Processing: Responsible for ordering goods and processing invoices, the role ensures compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, avoiding late payment penalties and reputational risk. Operational Administration: Manages daily reports, updates records, and handles correspondence with councillors, suppliers, and external teams, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery. Accident Claims Management: Inputs and tracks insurance claims, providing accurate data for inspectors and legal compliance.
