Qualifications
* GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
* Relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Teaching Assistant, Early Years or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards.
Experience
* Experience of working with primary-aged children.
* Experience planning and leading activities for children.
* Experience promoting positive behaviour.
Knowledge and understanding
* Understanding the statutory requirements of legislation concerning Safeguarding, including Child Protection, Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, and Inclusion.
* Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
* Understanding of health and safety requirements in a school environment.
